Bryan Cummings is a Managing Director and co-leads the US Financial Sponsor Group at Canaccord Genuity, a global investment banking and wealth management firm. Before joining Canaccord, Bryan served as Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage at DA Davidson, a national middle market investment bank. Previously, he founded and led the U.S. middle market sponsor coverage practice at RBC Capital Markets and led corporate development at a global information services firm. With 20 years of experience across investment banking and corporate finance, Bryan also brings extensive MA& and capital markets experience to his clients in the technology, diversified industrial and aerospace/defense industries, with tenures at J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns and UBS.

Before beginning his advisory career, he served as a U.S. Army combat arms officer in the U.S. and overseas with a focus on small unit leadership and shoulder-fired Stinger missiles. Bryan holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Near East studies from Princeton University. Bryan lives with his wife and daughter in New York City.

Jay has a long track record in financial operations, previously serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for other private equity and privately owned industrial companies.

Regan is a seasoned commercial insurance broker with experience in risk management due diligence; insurance program design, implementation and management; risk identification; and financial risk analysis. With a hyper-focus on providing unparalleled customer service, Regan has built long-lasting relationships with his clients while becoming a trusted advisor and valued partner to these companies. Regan has worked with dozens of clients representing a wide range of industries in developing risk management strategies and insurance programs to address the risks and exposures associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises including IPOs.

Regan has largely focused on providing insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services to Utah’s deal community. As a member of the firm’s Private Equity and M&A practice, Regan works closely with capital providers and portfolio companies to address the various risks that arise throughout the deal cycle.

Regan also leads the IMA Salt Lake City Sales Team with direct management of the Commercial Insurance and Personal Lines producers. Regan also leads the sales strategy and efforts for the Employee Benefits team. As the Sales Leader, Regan has worked to align the new business and client retention strategies with the producers, encouraging cross-selling and expanded collaboration efforts that permeates the legacy-Diversified and IMA cultures while growing the team in size and capabilities. Producers in SLC play a dual role, functioning as high-end Account Executives on their accounts while pursuing new business efforts, meaning that growth must be balanced with retention to achieve targeted organic growth. As IMA SLC continues to grow in revenues and headcount, Regan has helped the production team consistently exceeded new business sales goals while retaining existing accounts to maximize organic growth metrics as one of the leading producers for both new business and overall book size.
